| Agustin Lara is a mythical figure in the panorama of popular Mexican singers and composers. He was born in the picturesque village of Tlacotalpan in the state of Veracruz, Mexico.
Veracruz is surely one of his best known piweces. It is performed here by “Los Cantores de Xcaret” and played on traditional musical instruments of the Jarochos (people from Veracruz).
